First Choice Health has acquired Billings-based Health InfoNet and its network of health providers and members in Montana, Wyoming, North and South Dakota and Colorado. The announcement from First Choice Health President / CEO Ken Hamm is an expansion of the Seattle-based PPO (preferred provider organization) network throughout the northwestern region.
"First Choice Health and Health InfoNet have enjoyed a long-standing and trust-based business partnership for many years," Hamm says.
Health InfoNet's CEO, Rob Hunter, will continue to lead Health InfoNet. Hunter said, "We have worked closely with First Choice Health for years and are excited by the additional capabilities that First Choice Health brings to us."
Founded in 1996, Health InfoNet (HIN) is a Montana-based provider network serving health plan sponsors and members in the northern Rocky Mountain states. The company's main office in Billings and a satellite office in East Helena operate a credentialed network in excess of ten thousand providers, including more than one hundred hospitals, serving approximately one hundred thousand plan members.
