MacKenzie River Reopens After Remodel, New Menu

MacKenzie River Pizza in the Heights (405 E. Main Street) reopened on April 1, after being closed for a month for extensive remodeling, which included a new kitchen. The new kitchen will accommodate a new menu, which takes MacKenzie River beyond pizza and sandwiches. The Heights store is a prototype new MacKenzie River that offers a full fledged family menu featuring burgers, fries and comfort-food entrees. The ever popular pizza and many other favorites of the past remain, but the new menu has something for everyone.
The store is the first in Montana to adapt to a pizza-grill-pub concept that has already proven to popular in their Spokane and Indiana stores. Papka said that she believes the full menu, family-style restaurant will be especially welcomed in the Heights. MacKenzie River also has a store at 3025 Grand. The chain of restaurants is part of the Glacier Restaurant Group.
