Stockman Bank had a groundbreaking ceremony last week at the site of its fifth full-service bank in Billings, the corner of 14th and Grand Avenue.
The lot has been cleared and construction crews have begun building the three-story, 18,600 square-foot facility that depicts the design of other Stockman Bank buildings, but with a six-lane drive up. The completion date is set for early 2013.
"We have seen extensive activity on Grand Avenue," comments Wayne Nelson, President of Stockman Bank Billings. "With a fifth location in Billings, we will make it as convenient as possible for our customers to do their banking anywhere in town."
Stockman Bank currently has five Billings area locations at 2700 King Avenue West, Shiloh and Grand, Hilltop and Main, Downtown at 4th and Broadway and in Worden.
Stockman Bank specializes in commercial, development, real estate and Ag lending. Established in 1953, Stockman Bank is still Montana owned and operated. There are 24 full-service locations in Montana. A 25th location in Helena is set to open mid-May. The Grand Avenue bank will be Stockman's 26th statewide location.
