Olympic Marathon silver medalist Meb Keflezighi will be the special guest athlete of the 28th Annual Big Sky State Games Friday, July 19. He will conduct a morning running clinic, July 19 and light the State Games torch during Opening Ceremonies that evening, both events are at Wendy's Field at Daylis Stadium in Billings. Gates open for Opening Ceremonies of the Big Sky State Games Friday, July 19 at 5:30 p.m. The Parade of Athletes begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5, children under 6 are admitted free. State Games participants are admitted free with their Opening Ceremonies tickets.

Robin Culver believes she has discovered "the perfect business for Billings."
After experiencing the unique approach to exercising at Pure Barre in Bozeman, Culver was so excited that she now wants to bring a Pure Barre studio to Billings. She plans to open Pure Barre in West Park Plaza in mid-summer, in partnership with the owner of the Pure Barre studio in Bozeman, Kaitlyn Kurn.
Mackenzie River Pizza Co., St. Vincent Healthcare and Sage Spa Living in Billings were among the recipients of the Ecostar Pollution Prevention awards this year. All were repeat winners from past years.

Stockman Bank is opening another branch this week. With construction completed and furnishings in place, staff will move on May 6 into the newest Stockman Bank, at the corner of Grand Avenue and 14th Street in Billings.
The addition of its fifth branch all has to do with the economic vitality of the community and Stockman Bank's commitment to be part of the community's future, said Spencer Frederick, the new Branch Manager, and Wayne Nelson, President of Stockman Bank, in a recent interview with Big Sky Business Journal.
