Chamber Ag Tours
The Billings Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring two agriculture tours that will include a tour of the PPL Colstrip Generation complex at Colstrip. The first will be on June 15 and the other on June 22. The tour also includes a visit to the Westmoreland Mine. Chamber at Ft. Benton
Bill Johnstone, President and CEO of Davidson Companies as the keynote speaker for the Montana Chamber of Commerce Summer Banquet, June 20 in Fort Benton. Johnstone will present "Taking Stock: Montana's Economy and the Financial Markets — An Off-Wall Street Perspective on Recent Developments in the Financial Markets and Montana's Economy". Space is very limited at the Grand Union Hotel so make reservation now. The Montana Chamber of Commerce will meet around this event, June 20-21, mostly interviewing (possibly endorsing) candidates for the Fall Election. Healthcare Forum
The next Montana HealthCare Forum gathering is a large group meeting on June 25, Monday in Helena at the Red Lion Colonial Hotel starting at 10:30 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m. We expect a Supreme Court Decision on the Affordable Care Act will be rendered by that time. In addition, we will cover plans for a candidates' forum in September and the annual HealthCare Forum Conference in November. As we confirm details, we will provide a more detailed agenda.
